As a guy who many times has woken up in the park, I have observed something very, to me, strange. The most physically toned - the people who really pay attention to their figure, those that have group classes of military like calisthenics at about six in the morning in the park, are generally the rudest people that you ever met. Now there's some that are nice, I'm sure there's one or two somewhere on some desert island. But in Lincoln Park and in Grant Park, you have these people, particularly the women, they run with their dogs. You could be sleeping somewhere and their dog - while it's attacking you when you're sleeping, or thinking you're a sandwich or whatever - the people just stand there and talk to their dog. "C'mon Pom-pom stop that." Not even, stop bothering that man but - "c'mon killer, let's go now". They don't apologize for their dog that almost made a snack out of your left ear. At least they could say that they're sorry or the dog is sorry, or something. Well, maybe they're not sorry, they're probably not, but if you lost your ear or something you'd be sorry. Now they didn't bite me but they chewed on me a few times which is very disturbing particularly when when that's the first thing in the morning that wakes you up. Between the dogs chewing and the people trying to cut the pockets, I'll never be lonely.
