Hope you are doing well. Attached is a little something I thought you could
use. It is a cut-out from a Marilyn Monroe calendar, scanned from both
sides. As you can see, the previous owner kept detailed records of his life.
This is only an excerpt from the whole calendar, which belongs to my partner.
She found it in the basement of her apartment building when she went down
there to throw out some garbage. It was in a recycling bin with several
other calendars, with similar notes on each day.
Going through it all, we pieced together that the former owner is an Aboriginal man, who was an alcoholic and had at least one child (who did not live with him). The man also probably was manic depressive or obsessive compulsive--some kind of psychological disorder is evident, not only in the way he kept such detail on his daily activities, but in the frequency of noted doctor's appointments of various types, and prescriptions taken. The calendar originally caught my partner's eye because it was marilyn monroe; she wanted the pictures for her apartment, and didn't realize that it was written in detail until after the recycling had been taken out for that week. Who knows how long this man was hoarding these calendars; this one was dated 1996, but it is unclear what years the other calendars it was with were from.
