Maize mission accomplished. We moved it tonight at sunset. We rolled east on Chase to the shadow of the Super 8 Motel. Crossed Sheridan road and headed north to the Waterford Nursing Home. Paused for a picture and headed east so the corn could rest at the lake.

We met a guy, with a guitar, who asked us "Are you going to leave that there?" upon closer inspection he asked "Are you going to plant corn?" We told him of the piece and where it has been, and where it will be in the near future.

We rested with the corn at the lake until past dusk. Rolled it to 74-- N. Sheridan Road into their backyard garden gate. It is near a water source so I can water it tomorrow when I go there for my bi-weekly consultation as a recreation therapist. I will also hang on my laminated corn cards to be enjoyed by anyone who comes upon the piece.

Thoughts:
What a distance that corn has come! It has seen more neighborhoods than most Chicagoans.
We passed an obese Corgy and its master. I thought of the released study that "US pets found Obese."
A long lineage of people because of an artist and her thoughts. I appreciate being included.
